Bridge builders – Building sustainable nutritional bridges between research and health and wellbeing services for elderly
The network consists of a wide and diverse range of expertise in food and nutrition research (healthy food, alternative proteins, mealtime interventions, aging) as well as in service applications and good practices (dietary habits and environments, training of social and health professionals). By combining and utilizing these in a more effective way, the challenges of shared mega-trends of aging and sustainability can be better addressed.
The goals for 2020 – 2021 are
1. to strengthen cooperation by identifying existing connections, knowledge reserves (conceptions, theory and actions) and needs and availability of building blocks
2. to discuss and plan a roadmap for future actions such as application for larger funds for joint multicenter research activities of the network partners.
