Facilitation of collaboration between members

The South Savo Food Cluster provides access to a networking and cooperation platform. The South Savo Food Cluster assists to match project ideas with appropriate funding opportunities. The cluster can help to coordinate gathering a consortium to promote the project idea into national and international funding programs.
The members are possible to join the cluster’s projects from the beginning.

Periodic information dissemination

The South Savo Food Cluster members get regularly a newsletter to inform about current regional, national, and international topics regarding agriculture, rural areas and businesses, and food sector in South Savo. Promoting visibility at national level and in EU Partnership Networks

Via the South Savo Food Cluster, the members gain visibility on the cluster website and at the European Cluster Collaboration Platform. Members have a possibility to receive free publicity during events organized by the South Savo Food Cluster. As needed, the cluster can also market the members and their know-how and/or needs in the national and international events the cluster joins. You can see next events here.

Future opportunities

The South Savo Food Cluster follows the international development of the food sector. The Future of Food Chain event is held annually, bringing together research, expertise and business activities in the field. The next event will take place in October/November 2022.

Support of knowledge transfer

Via the South Savo Food Cluster the members have access to information about trends in the agriculture, rural businesses, and food sector. The website of Ekoneum ry compiles the ongoing development activities in the food sector in South Savo. This project register brings visibility to the development work in the food sector.
